This is a sourced and annotated geographical genealogy of people who had some life event in Knox County, Ohio. They were born there, married there, died or were buried there, or they were there during a census year. It is far from complete, but it has been my "retirement project" since 2003. Sources for information do not show up well on Tribal Pages (so far), but all sources are primary (no one has been "lifted" from another database found online). These include county courthouse documents, state and county birth, marriage, death, probate and burial records. All four (1862, 1881, 1902 and 1912) published histories and biographies of Knox County are included. DAR and SAR descendant information has also been invaluable, as have all available US Census records. Where there are known discrepancies, such as in date or place of an event, they are in the NOTES section, and the most logical is included in the main information.
